Privacy Policy

The short version

This site is an informational page about The Purpose Arc™ Seminar. It has no accounts, no shopping cart, and no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not set cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information. We collect personal details in two places only: if you leave your email to hear about a city, and if you choose to complete the Purpose Assessment.

Who is responsible

What we collect directly

City requests. When you tap a city in the “Bring The Purpose Arc to your city” section, we add one to a public tally for that city. That tally is a number and nothing else — no name, no location, no identifier of any kind is attached to it. Your browser stores a small note of which cities you tapped so the page can stop you double-tapping; that note stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Email, if you offer it. After tapping a city you can optionally leave an email address to be told when a date near you is announced. If you do, we store that address alongside the city you asked for, and we use it for that purpose only. Every message we send will include a way to unsubscribe. We will not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else. Ask us and we will delete it.

The Purpose Assessment. The assessment asks for your name, age, nearest major city and state, gender, and email address, and optionally your phone number. It also records your five answers and the resulting score. Your result is shown to you on the page immediately — we do not email it. We use the details you give us to understand who is interested and where they are, and to let you know when The Purpose Arc comes near you. Your answers are personal, and we treat them that way: they are never published, sold, or shared, and the assessment responses cannot be read back from this website by anyone. Completing it is entirely optional, and you can ask us to delete your submission at any time.

Anything you email us. If you use one of the email links to get in touch about speaking or anything else, we receive whatever you put in that email — typically your name, email address, and the details of your inquiry — and we use it only to reply and to arrange the thing you asked about.

What is collected automatically

This site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like virtually all web hosts, it keeps standard server logs of requests. Those logs can include your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser and device type. They are used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Third parties your browser contacts

• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google's servers, so your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That request reveals your IP address to Google. It is handled under Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Hosting and Firestore. Also operated by Google, under the same policy. Firestore is the database that holds the city tallies, any email addresses given to us, and assessment submissions.
• Tony Gaskins Academy. Registration for the seminar happens on tonygaskinsacademy.com, which is a separate site. Anything you enter there — including payment details — is governed by that site's own privacy policy and terms, not this one.
• Instagram and YouTube. The footer links out to those platforms. Following a link takes you to their site, under their policies.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies. It does use your browser’s local storage for one thing: remembering which cities you have already tapped, so it can stop you voting twice. That stays on your device, holds nothing that identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes it. Third-party services you visit by following a link from here may set their own cookies.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

If you would like to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted — an assessment submission, an email address, or correspondence — write to BookTony@TonyGaskins.com and we will action it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — for example under the GDPR in the UK and EU, or the CCPA in California. We honor those requests regardless of where you are.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
